Dr Mark McCrory
GP
I am a musculoskeletal and sports medicine physician as well as a practising GP and a fellow of the Irish college of sports and exercise medicine. I have worked with various sporting teams and currently am the team doctor for the Belfast Giants .
Having worked with other local orthopaedic and sports specialists over the years I provide specialist musculoskeletal and orthopaedic clinics both for local GP practices and in the hospital environment , where I have a specialist interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging.



Dr Fiona O’Donoghue
GP
Dr O’Donoghue is a GP and menopause specialist who has worked in the NHS for over 25 years.
She graduated form Queens University Belfast in 1991 and worked in Belfast before moving to work in Australia. She returned to Glasgow to complete GP training and has been here ever since. She worked in the first dedicated menopause clinic in the UK, with Dr David Mackay Hart incorporating clinical work with menopause research.
She has many years of experience in working in primary care menopause and sexual health. She has a holistic approach to management of the menopause and views it as a positive transition in a woman’s life and values an individual tailored and personal approach incorporating diet exercise and lifestyle as part of good management. Pharmacological and non pharmalogical alternatives are an important part of her ethos.
She is a member of the British menopause society, the British medical association and a member of the faculty of reproductive and sexual health.

SHARON RUTHERFORD
Mental Health Team
Sharon is a fully qualified and registered (BASW, NISCC) Mental Health Social Worker with over 21yrs working in acute Mental Health within the local Health Service. As a trained Specialist Mental Health Practitioner, she has been qualified as an Approved Mental Health Social Worker (16rys) with a key role under Mental Health Legislation, providing emergency assessments for hospital admissions if needed. Sharon continues to Chair panels for the implementation of the new legislation the Mental Capacity Act. Sharon has worked across a range of Mental Health Services within the South Eastern Trust including Community Mental Health Teams, Mental Health Assessment Centre, Home Treatment Team and also with emergency services providing rapid responses to mental health needs throughout the night. Sharon has worked to support those struggling with their mental health across all ages and sectors of the community. Sharon is skilled in the comprehensive assessment and treatment of Mental Illness, managing risks in a positive manner and providing a wide range of therapeutic interventions with CPD training in Distress Tolerance, Behavioural Family Therapy, low intensity CBT and perinatal support. Her interventions include both talking therapies and practical supports to manage current symptoms and promote recovery. Sharon has managed several teams with a drive and passion to motivate and enable staff regarding self-care and mental wellbeing.



Jessica Melville
Mental Health Team
Jessica is a fully qualified and registered (HCPC, RCOT) Mental Health Occupational Therapist and has worked in various settings within mental health in the NHS for over 15yrs, providing assessments and supporting the management of mental illness. Jessica has worked within the Community Mental Health Teams, Mental Health Services for Older People and on the Psychiatric Ward. For the past 6 years her work has been within the Acute Community Home Treatment Team providing acute care, completing comprehensive mental health assessments and managing high levels of risk with a focus on positive risk taking. Jessica has developed her skills in Vocational Rehabilitation following postgraduate training with her work in Condition Management which focuses on enabling people experiencing both physical and mental ill health to return to work. She has a certificate in Cognitive Therapy with additional CPD training in Case Formulation, Behavioural Family Work, and Distress Tolerance. Jessica also specialises in the use of Standardised MOHO Assessment Tools and Sensory work which is an effective and innovative technique used to help adults manage their emotions and connect with the physiological aspects of our bodies responses to distress.



Dr Edward Noble
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Noble graduated from the Queen’s University of Belfast in 2005. He became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2012. Dr Noble achieved a distinction in a Masters of Science from New Bucks University in 2014 in Psychotherapeutic Approaches to Mental Health. He continues to use this approach in his diagnosis and treatment of mental illness. Dr Noble was admitted to the Specialist Register in 2015. He is a General Adult Psychiatrist and holds an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry. Dr Noble was appointed and has been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2015 and is also a recognised trainer in Psychiatry, recognised by the Northern Ireland Medical and Dental Training Agency and the GMC.
Dr Noble is currently employed as a full-time consultant psychiatrist at Northern HSC Trust. Dr Noble is Lead Clinician within the Mental Health directorate.
Dr Noble has extensive experience throughout his training in psychiatry. He has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in a Support and Recovery Community Mental Health Team, in an acute inpatient ward and a Home Treatment Team and also within a Personality Disorder Service. As such Dr Noble is confident and competent in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health disorders, working in the acute presentation and also treating people in a recovery focused, person centered and collaborative manner.
Dr Noble will see patients who suffer from Depression, anxiety, OCD, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Psychosis, Schizophrenia and Schizo-affective disorder plus other mental health conditions. Dr Noble has experience in the provision of medico-legal reports.



Dr Nathan Oliver
Consultant in Chronic Pain Management
Dr. Nathan Oliver specialises in the management of all forms of Persistent Pain and has a particular interest in Back Pain, Sciatica, Joint Pain and Migraine.
Dr. Oliver graduated with a medical degree from Queen’s University in 2011. Whilst there he attained a Fulbright Scholarship in leadership from University of Pennsylvania/Drexel as well as the Oscar Reginald Lewis Wilson scholarship from the Royal College of Physicians and was selected to study for an intercalated degree in Public Health, graduating from a Masters in Public Health with commendation.
Following training in General Medicine, Surgery and Emergency Medicine he was selected into the Anaesthetics training programme where he undertook further study and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, London. He pursued a specialist interest in Pain Medicine throughout his anaesthetic training and undertook a Fellowship in Pain Medicine where he learned enhanced management of pain including fluoroscopically guided procedures and Ultrasound guided injections. During this time he studied for and was admitted as a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine Royal College of Anaesthetists, London.
Dr. Oliver currently predominately practices as a Consultant in the Chronic Pain Department Ulster Hospital, Dundonald. Having won multiple University and National championships in Rowing and Water-polo, he is now predominantly a bad golfer. However he firmly believes holistic pain management should facilitate an active and enjoyable lifestyle!



Dr Graeme Young
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Young graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 2012, where he also completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Mental Health in 2014. He became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2016. Dr Young was admitted to the Specialist Register in 2021, in both Old Age Psychiatry and General Adult Psychiatry and he holds an endorsement in Liaison Psychiatry.
