At the headache clinic we will assess your headache type and review your current management:
We can look at holistic approaches as well as medication options for managing migraine and other primary headache conditions to maximise your treatment within this clinic.
Primary headache: Migraine, Tension, Cluster headache can often be managed solely within our clinic and Dr Long will take steps to identify secondary headache by organising imaging and refer for specialist input
We provide a pre-clinic questionnaire for Dr Long to maximise your time during your appointment.
In many cases Dr Long will provide a written plan and discuss if and when a review would be advised.

DR Long
GP and GP with extended role in Headache Medicine
Dr Long graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2000. She initially completed the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians exams before changing to General Practice, completing the Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioner exams.
Dr Long has 20 years experience working as an NHS GP. Dr Long also works in an NHS headache clinic and is passionate about helping people with migraine achieve improved outcomes.
Dr Long also has an interest in Women’s Health and has completed the Diploma in Family Planning and the Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
