Echocardiography

(Heart Scan, echo, cardiac ultrasound)

An echocardiogram (echo) is a quick, painless heart scan that uses ultrasound to create images of your heart. It shows how well your heart and valves are working and helps detect issues like heart failure, valve disease, or irregular rhythms.

Often used for symptoms like chest pain or shortness of breath, the test takes around 30–45 minutes and involves no needles or radiation.

With a patient focused approach, we offer a range of diagnostic options and flexibility including home visits and a postal service (on request) alongside traditional clinic based work.

We are the first and only private provider of Cardiac Rehabilitation in Northern Ireland. Our passion is heart health and supporting patients who have suffered from heart problems with a key focus on preventative healthcare.

We offer cardiac screenings, family screenings, heart health checks, cardiac risk assessments, cardiac rehabilitation, echocardiograms (echo/heart scan), 12 lead resting ECG, ambulatory ECG, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, occupational health services, corporate support, DVA, pilot screening and much more.
